Who we are

Capital,
with consequences.

Al Nowais FinCorp is a Seychelles-incorporated holding company established to own, develop and govern strategic interests in financial services and financial infrastructure.

Contemporary institutional architecture with stone, glass and precise lines

Our role

An owner is not an operator.

Al Nowais provides the ownership, capital-stewardship and shareholder-governance layer for the Canopus project.

A regulated banking institution, once authorised, must have its own governing body, executive management, risk, compliance, internal audit and regulatory obligations. Good ownership supports that architecture. It does not substitute for it.

That distinction is not administrative tidiness. It is part of how institutional trust is built.

What the holding company does

Four jobs. No costume changes.

01

Own deliberately

Set a long-term ownership thesis and protect the institution from short-term convenience.

02

Capitalise responsibly

Understand the origin, quality, time horizon and strategic consequences of capital.

03

Govern clearly

Define decision rights, reserved matters, accountability and escalation before they are tested.

04

Let management manage

Support the regulated institution without turning shareholder influence into operational interference.

“A holding company should contribute patience, clarity and standards — not merely another layer in the chart.”

Our principal project

Canopus

Canopus is the proposed cross-border banking institution being developed within the group. It is not currently licensed and does not conduct banking business.

The project is being designed around international payments, foreign exchange, trade-related services, treasury and carefully selected financial infrastructure — all subject to regulatory authorisation and final approved scope.
